About the event
Calling all future astronauts, engineers, and space explorers!
Your mission: Design and build a colony on the Moon!
In this five-day summer camp at 3DSpaceGarden, campers will become space engineers as they imagine what it takes to live and work on the lunar surface. Using 3D design software, 3D printers, and hands-on building techniques, they'll create lunar habitats, exploration vehicles, and other essential structures for their very own Moon base.
Along the way, campers will tackle real-world engineering challenges, explore space science, and learn how to turn creative ideas into physical objects.
And what's a Moon mission without a rocket launch? To celebrate the end of the week, campers will prepare a special delivery for their lunar colonies and launch pre-prepared bottle rockets in an exciting, supervised outdoor activity!
By the end of the week, each camper will have contributed to a miniature lunar colony, created custom 3D-printed projects to take home, and experienced their very own rocket launch!
No previous 3D printing or design experience necessary. Just bring your curiosity, creativity, and sense of adventure!
